After a few months of silence where we have stopped to rest and reflect after a year of hard work in the production of the videogame 'Harriet From Slave To Hero' which is now available globally and for free in open Beta for PC.

First of all, I am addressing you dear player, who may not know us, to introduce you to the team behind KKO Team. 

Formed by 7 members, artists, designers, and programmers who recently graduated in Video Game Design and Development, they have decided to give you a chance to know their work of the last 4 years as students and final work corresponding to our Final Degree Project.

We wanted to tell the story of a woman who has gone unnoticed by many despite her great achievements in liberating the black slaves of her time and venturing to end the racist and unjust social structure that existed at the time. We have taken references from games such as Hitman Go, where the game is played in turns on a board where the player must move pieces cunningly if they wish to reach the end alive. 

The whole scenario, levels, and story have been structured faithfully to the chronological order of Harriet Tubman's life, so you will learn and live her life told from the video game, a medium that we believe is very special.

We hope you enjoy it very much. Our medium-term goal is to publish it on digital platforms such as Steam and your comments and enjoyment will keep us motivated to continue with the project.
